Road closures on Jan. 27-29 for Caloocan cityhood anniversary kickoff

Some roads in Caloocan City near the city hall will be closed starting 9 p.m., Monday, until 2 a.m., Wednesday.

In an advisory, Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan said the affected areas are:

• 10th Avenue
• 9th Street going to 7th Avenue
• 9th Street

Motorists from C3 Road going to Caloocan City Hall are advised to turn right to 9th Street, left to 7th Avenue, right to 7th Street, right to 10th Avenue, right to 8th Street.

On January 28, 7:30 p.m., a concert will be held beside the city hall as part of the celebration of Caloocan’s 63rd cityhood anniversary. Around 3,500 people are expected to attend the event.
