Rider run over by truck dies; foreign passenger injured

A motorcycle driver of a ride-hailing app was killed after getting run over by a dump truck along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City, while his foreign passenger was injured in the incident.

According to a Saksi report on Thursday, the passenger was able to jump off the motorcycle. He was brought to a hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the truck driver is in police custody.
