Isko Moreno tops OCTA survey for Manila mayor

Isko Moreno topped the survey conducted by the OCTA Research group for the mayoralty race in the city.

Former Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso topped the survey conducted by the OCTA Research group for the mayoralty race in the city.

Based on the survey conducted from March 2 to 6, Moreno ranked first with a voter preference of 67%.

This is higher than the 16% received by Tutok To Win Party-list Representative Sam Verzosa, and the 15% received by incumbent mayor Honey Lacuna.

Meanwhile, actor Raymond Bagatsing received 1% while others received 0%.

According to the OCTA Research group, the survey was commissioned by Roberto Oca of the Association Workers Union.

The survey asked voters which of the following candidates they would vote for the position of Manila mayor if the May election was conducted at the time of the survey.

OCTA said the barangays in Manila were selected randomly, from which an interval sampling was employed to select households. It said a respondent from each household was then selected using a probability selection table.

The survey interviewed 1,200 male and female aged 18 and above with an overall margin of error at ±3%.—Joahna Lei Casilao/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
