Fire hits Ospital ng Maynila

A fire hit the old building of Ospital ng Maynila in Malate, Manila before dawn on Sunday.

The fire broke out at 1:30 a.m., according to GMA Integrated News reporter EJ Gomez.

The Bureau of Fire Protection raised the first alarm, and nine fire trucks from the BFP, Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and fire volunteers responded.

The fire was put out at 2:12 a.m.

According to hospital personnel, a room where medical supplies were stored was affected by the fire. —KG, GMA Integrated News
