Fire hits building in Ermita, Manila
A fire broke out in a building in Ermita, Manila on Wednesday morning, according to the Bureau of Fire - National Capital Region (BFP-NCR).
The BFP-NCR said the fire started around 6:39 a.m. and was declared out around 7:20 a.m.
Five fire trucks and one ambulance responded to the area.
Due to the fire, a portion of Mabini Street was closed to traffic, according to a report by Manny Vargas on Super Radyo dzBB.
The affected building was previously used as an office of a recruitment agency. But now, some people are residing in the building.
No one was reported hurt in the fire.
Authorities have yet to provide information on the cause of fire, number of affected houses and residents, as well as the estimated cost of damage. —Joviland Rita/KG, GMA Integrated News
