Grade 12 students allegedly rape 16-year-old schoolmate in Manila

Authorities arrested three Grade 12 students for allegedly raping their 16-year-old schoolmate in Tondo, Manila.

In Nico Waje’s Monday report on “Saksi,” the Baseco Police said the victim was chatting with one of the suspects when he allegedly asked her to have a drink.

Their drinking session started at 11 p.m. on April 6 and ended about 2 a.m. the following day.

According to the victim, she fell asleep as she got drunk. She woke up when she felt someone was kissing her and holding down her hand.

The victim said the suspects took turns raping her. She was able escape when the suspects fell asleep. She then went to her friend.

The suspects were arrested during a follow-up operation. They refused to comment on the matter.

The suspects are detained in the Baseco Police Station and will be facing rape charges.  — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BAP, GMA Integrated News
