Shawarma store employee stabbed to death by former co-worker in QC

An employee of a shawarma store was stabbed to death by a former co-worker in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, according to the police on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said the body of the 25-year-old victim was found inside the store in Barangay Sangandaan on May 4.

Investigation showed that the 22-year-old suspect entered the establishment at 9:02 p.m. on May 3  and dragged the victim to the kitchen.

The suspect stabbed the victim repeatedly and fled afterwards, according to police.

A manhunt operation is underway to capture the suspect, the QCPD said. The police also encouraged those who have information about the incident to report it to authorities.

“Buo ang pakikiramay ng QCPD sa pamilya ng biktima at tinitiyak na hindi titigil hangga’t hindi napapanagot ang may sala,” the QCPD said.

(The QCPD extends its deepest condolences to the victim’s family and assures that it will not rest until the perpetrator is held accountable.)

“Ang QCPD ay naninindigang hindi palalagpasin ang ganitong uri ng karahasan at magpapatuloy sa pagtutok upang makamit ang hustisya para sa biktima,” it added.
