Jeannie Sandoval proclaimed Malabon mayor

Jeannie Sandoval will remain as mayor of Malabon City after she was proclaimed winner in the May 2025 midterm elections on Tuesday.

Based on the partial and unofficial results from the Comelec Media Server as of 6:42 a.m., Sandoval obtained 92,621 votes.

Her rival, Jaye Lacson-Noel, received 50,409 votes.

Meanwhile, Edward Nolasco was also proclaimed winner in the vice mayoralty race in Malabon.

Nolasco gathered 56,515 votes.

For other vice mayoral candidates, Angelika dela Cruz received 42,207 votes; Jap Garcia had 29,252; while Dado Cunanan had 12,530. — Joviland Rita/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
