Along Malapitan wins 2nd term as Caloocan mayor

Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan and Vice Mayor Karina Teh will be serving their second term as they were proclaimed winners in Eleksyon 2025 Tuesday.

Malapitan received 348,592 votes after defeating former senator Antonio Trillanes IV, Danny Villanueva, Richard Canete, and Ronnie Malunes.

Meanwhile Teh has 351,299 votes winning over PJ Malonzo, Dante Lustre, Joseph Timbol, and Rolando Tobias.

Incumbent Caloocan 1st District Representative Oscar Malapitan also won another term while former Rep. Edgar Erice will return to the 2nd District after defeating incumbent Rep. Mitch Cajayon. 

On the other hand, Dean Asistio will be the representative of 3rd District after running unopposed. —with a report from Bea Pinlac/AOL, GMA Integrated News
