The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said Thursday it seized various counterfeit products worth P47.7 million in Pasay City.

In a statement on Thursday, the NBI said 15,814 pieces of various counterfeit products bearing a certain apparel brand were seized after the original company filed the complaint.

The NBI said it implemented three search warrants against the owners, managers, operators, and occupants of a certain building in Pasay City on May 14.

The search warrants were implemented for violation of Section 155 (Trademark Infringement) in relation to Section 170 of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines.

Authorities also confiscated various business documents, receipts, parcel tags, and machines used in the illegal operation.
