Dad nabbed for alleged abuse of daughter

A man was arrested in San Juan for alleged abuse of his daughter.

According to a "24 Oras" report by Emil Sumangil on Friday, the man, a stall owner in a shopping complex in the city, is wanted for child abuse.

The complaint against the suspect was lodged by his wife after the family found out about the abuse.

“Nakakalungkot lang sabihin pero ang kanyang biktima dito ay mismong sarili niyang anak. The suspect is the biological father of the victim. Nangyari ng month of May 2023,” said Pasig Chief Police Colonel Hendrix Mangaldan.

“Salaysay ng biktima pag natutulog at kung sila lang doon sa bahay, ay hinahawakan ng tatay ang maseselang bahagi ng kaniyang ama,” he added.

Meanwhile, in Pasig, a man was arrested for attempted rape.

The complaint filed by the victim said that he got her drunk, but that she was able to recover her consciousness in time to stop the crime.
