Mystery woman could be living in Makati drainage, says police

The mysterious woman who went viral on social media for emerging out of a drainage hole in Legazpi Village, Makati City could have been living in the sewers for a long time, the Makati City Police said.

According to a report in “24 Oras” on Wednesday, the cops said they found several personal items inside the drainage. They also believe the woman is in need of medical attention. 

Authorities are now looking for the said woman. 

Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development said it will take necessary steps once the woman is found, including providing her with temporary shelter. 

In Tuesday’s report, the person who uploaded the images said the woman started running wildly after she left the drainage, with security guards chasing after her.
