Fire hits school in Brgy. Bagong Pag-asa, QC
A fire broke out in a school in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa in Quezon City on Sunday morning.
The affected school, San Francisco High School, is on Misamis Street near a shopping mall, according to a report by Carlo Mateo on Super Radyo dzBB.
The Bureau of Fire Protection raised the first alarm at 10:52 a.m.
The BFP eventually raised the third alarm.
Firemen were able to put the fire under control before 12 noon.
Among the areas affected in the school is the faculty room.
The BFP is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and estimated cost of property damage.
The mall was not affected by the fire due to a fire wall.

Mopping up operations are ongoing.
Meanwhile, the Department of Education (DepEd) said arrangements are being made to accommodate the classes affected.
"For damage assessment muna ito, then it will be prioritized to be included for Quick Response Fund ng department...For the meantime, arrangements are being done to accommodate classes of displaced learners," DepEd chief of media relations Dennis E Legaspi told reporters in a message.
