63-year-old House employee killed while attending daughter's party

A 63-year-old employee of the House of Representatives was killed after he was shot by unidentified gunmen while attending the birthday celebration of his daughter in Commonwealth, Quezon City on Sunday.

The Quezon City Police District said the incident happened at 2:55 p.m.

An initial investigation showed two unidentified perpetrators entered the venue and shot the victim at close range. 

The gunmen boarded a motorcycle and fired at the subdivision’s security guard before escaping.

The victim was rushed to FEU-NRMF Hospital but was later declared dead by the attending physician.

A special investigation team was created by the QCPD officer-in-charge for the identification and arrest of the perpetrators.
