Rider dead, 2 others injured after truck rams motorcycles in Taguig

A female motorcycle rider died while two others were injured after they were hit by a trailer truck in Taguig City.

According to Ian Cruz’s Thursday report on “24 Oras,” the truck crashed into a center island corner of C-5 Road and Upper McKinley Hill on Wednesday.

Before the incident, the trailer truck hit several motorcycles, some of which were crushed.

The passenger of the female rider and a male rider sustained injuries.

According to a Super Radyo DZBB report, the truck driver said his brakes failed while he was speeding.

Traffic became slightly heavy due to the accident. 

Meanwhile, the truck driver was saved from the accident and is under police custody.
