DPWH begins Delpan Bridge rehab; motorists advised to take alternative routes
The Department of Public Works and Highways on Tuesday have started rehabilitating the Delpan Bridge in Manila and advised the public to take alternative routes.
In Manny Vargas’ Super Radyo dzBB report, the Delpan Bridge requires rehabilitation after the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) determined that the 59-year old bridge needs retrofitting as a safety precaution amid the threat of earthquakes.

To recall, the EDSA-Kamuning Flyover and Quezon Avenue Flyover underwent rehabilitation to strengthen both structures.
Affected motorists are advised to use the service road or pass underneath the Delpan Bridge while it is being retrofitted. —RF, GMA Integrated News
