MMDA: Number coding suspended due to bad weather

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday afternoon suspended the number coding scheme due to the bad weather caused by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
“Be careful when driving during this rainy season and please follow traffic laws for road safety,” the advisory read in Filipino.
Malacañang earlier suspended classes and work in government offices in Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, Batangas, Laguna, Bulacan, Pampanga, Zambales, Bataan at 1 p.m.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. also ordered the Department of Transportation, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Philippine Ports Authority to offer free rides to the public. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
