MMDA, Makati City suspend number coding scheme on Thursday, July 24, 2025

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Makati City government on Wednesday announced that the number coding scheme is still suspended on Thursday, July 24 due to the inclement weather.

This is the third consecutive day that the MMDA suspended the number coding scheme due to the downpour and flooding in several cities.

"Paalala: mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho at tiyaking updated sa mga weather report at flood alerts para maiwasan ang paglusong sa baha," the agency said.

(Reminder: drive carefully and make sure to stay updated on weather reports and flood alerts to avoid being swept away by floodwaters.)

The Makati City government posted the announcement on Wednesday evening.

"Patuloy din ang paalala sa mga motoristang mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho sa gitna ng malakas na ulan," the LGU posted.

(Motorists are also reminded to be careful when driving in heavy rain.)
