Snake caught in Villamor hours before Marcos left for India

A snake was caught in one area of Villamor Air Base on Monday morning, hours before President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. departed for his state visit to India.

A personnel from the Philippine Air Force placed the snake inside a snack.

According to PAF commander Lieutenant General Arthur Cordura, a personnel was bitten, but immediate medical attention was given to him.

''He was just administered [with] anti-tetanus, it's not venomous naman...'' Cordura told reporters.

''It might be incidental na malaki na siya, it might be malaki na siya... It's highly possible that it migrated from one area to another. Good thing it was discovered earlier,'' he said.

Cordura ensured that the matter was not a cause for concern. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
