Heavy rainfall causes flooding in parts of Metro Manila

Some areas in Metro Manila got flooded on Wednesday afternoon after a heavy downpour.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has released a list of areas in Metro Manila that were flooded due to heavy rains.
As of 1:33 p.m., the following areas are flooded:
Quezon City
- EDSA Balintawak NB (Gutter deep, 8 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
Mandaluyong City
- EDSA-Ortigas Intersection (Subsided as of 1:18 p.m.)
- EDSA Shaw Tunnel NB (Gutter deep, 8 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
- Manila City
- UN/UNILEVER along Cristobal Street (Gutter deep, 8 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
Malabon City
- Governor Pascual Vernue (corner Maria Clara Street), Barangay Accacia/Tinajeros (Half-gutter deep, 4 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
Caloocan City
- McArthur Calle Uno EB (Gutter deep, 8 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
- C3 NLEX Connector NB and SB (Gutter deep, 8 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
- Samson corner Lapu-Lapu Street NB (Gutter deep, 8 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
Valenzuela City
- MacArthur Highway, Elysian Creek BBB (Gutter deep, 8 inches, passable to all types of vehicles)
According to an earlier report by PAGASA, three weather systems affecting the country will cause rainy skies in several areas.
In Metro Manila, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be expected due to the effects of localized thunderstorms. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/KG, GMA Integrated News
