3 pupils struck by falling debris from QC building

Three 12-year-old students were brought to the hospital after they were hit by concrete debris that fell from a condominium building in Quezon City on Tuesday evening.

According to Sandra Aguinaldo’s report on “24 Oras,” two of the students are in critical condition after they were hit on the head by the debris while they were walking at the corner of Roces and Timog Avenue at about 4:39 p.m.

Meanwhile, the third student sustained injuries on his arms.

The mother of one of the victims said she is looking for a doctor who could help their child, who was in critical condition.

They also seek accountability from the building owner.

(We need a skilled doctor who can help my child. I don’t want to lose hope since she is still breathing, she was also crying.)

(Even if I want to help him, I cannot do anything. I can’t think of a way to help. I was in shock. My child just went to school. I didn’t expect him to experience that.)

The grandfather of the other victim, who is in critical condition also sought help.
