MMDA suspends number coding scheme on Tuesday, Aug. 26 due to bad weather
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Monday that the implementation of the number coding scheme on Tuesday, August 26 will be suspended due to inclement weather.
“The implementation of the expanded number coding scheme is suspended tomorrow, August 26, 2025, due to the expected bad weather,” the advisory in Filipino.
“A reminder from the MMDA: drive safely and make sure to stay updated on weather reports.”
Likewise, Makati City also announced that the number coding scheme in the city will be suspended on Tuesday.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government earlier announced suspension of classes and government work in several localities tomorrow due to the bad weather.
According to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and low pressure area are expected to affect the weather conditions of several areas in the country. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/BAP, GMA Integrated News
