2 cops under preventive custody for allegedly touching policewoman in police car

Two policemen have been disarmed and taken into preventive custody by the Marikina City Police Station after they allegedly touched a policewoman on her private parts inside a police car.

According to Mark Salazar's report on "24 Oras," the incident happened on the night of August 17.

The suspects and the victim reportedly belonged to the same unit of the police station.

It took a number of days before the policewoman filed a report.

"Allegedly, 'yun nga, hinawakan siya nung kasama niya na pulis sa maselan part ng katawan niya... doon mismo sa loob ng mobile," said Police Brig. Gen. Aden Lagradante, director of the Eastern Police District.

"Ang nabasa ko... is only hinipuan siya, but as to the sexual act hindi pa malinaw," he added.

The two policemen have denied the allegations.

The victim had been assigned to the EPD while the investigation is ongoing. –NB, GMA Integrated News
