Marcos visits Tondo fire victims
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Thursday checked the distribution of assistance for some 2,200 families who were affected by fire that hit a residential area in Happy Land in Tondo, Manila.
Marcos visited Gen. Vicente Lim Elementary School to check the victims, together with Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian and Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno.
He assured the victims that the government would exhaust all measures in order to help them.
''Gagawin po namin ang lahat para makabalik na kayo sa normal ninyong buhay,'' Marcos said.

At least three people sustained injuries after a fire broke out over the weekend, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The fire was put out on Sunday morning after reaching Task Force Bravo at 10:53 p.m. on Saturday.
Fire authorities said there were no fatalities. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
