Brief fire hits Pateros community on Sunday morning


A fire razed a community in Pateros, Metro Manila on Sunday morning that was quickly put out in less than an hour.

In a report by Mao dela Cruz on Super Radyo dzBB, the fire began at 10:24 a.m. behind a school at the corner of C. Almeda and P. Herrera Sts.

Firefighters quickly responded to the blaze within three minutes, with the Bureau of Fire Protection declaring it under 1st alarm by 10:28 a.m.

The BFP was able to contain the fire under control by 10:46 a.m. and eventually put it out by 11:16 a.m.

Authorities are still accounting for the fire’s damage to property. There are no reports of casualties as of posting time.
