Quezon Bridge in Manila temporarily closed on Sunday, October 19, 2025
The northbound and southbound lanes of Quezon Bridge will be temporarily closed to motorists on Sunday, October 19, 2025, starting 4:00 a.m., the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) announced.
The closure is in line with the inauguration of the Pasig River Esplanade, a major urban development project aimed at revitalizing the Pasig River area and promoting walkable, eco-friendly public spaces.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes to avoid congestion in the area while the event is ongoing.
The city government apologized for the temporary inconvenience and thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding.
