10-year-old dies in residential fire in Pasay City
A 10-year-old girl died in a fire that affected a residential area in Pasay City on Friday night, according to GMA Integrated News reporter Jhomer Apresto.
Personnel of the Philippine National Police-Scene of the Crime Operations (PNP-SOCO) were seen at the site past 5 a.m. Saturday.
The fire started at Mendoza Compound in Barangay 127 past 11 p.m.
Residents helped get water and pass on the pails to Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel to ensure they have enough water supply to put out the fire.

The BFP said since the houses were made of light materials and were built close to each other, the fire quickly escalated, necessitating declaring the third alarm.
Almost 40 fire trucks responded.
At 12:22 a.m. Saturday, the fire was put out.
Around 70 families or more than 400 individuals were affected by the fire.
Some 40 houses were affected.
The fire reportedly started on the second floor of a house.
The BFP is still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and provide an estimate of the cost of property damage.
Meanwhile, affected residents were brought to the covered court of Juan Sumulong Elementary School in Pasay City for temporary shelter.
Some of the residents said they were not able to save any of their belongings. —KG, GMA Integrated News
