US Air Force aircraft landed at NAIA — PAF

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) has confirmed that the United States Air Force’s E-4B or "Nightwatch” aircraft landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City on Sunday.

“The PAF confirms that an E4B aircraft landed at NAIA on October 26, 2025, and remained overnight for refueling and crew rest,” the PAF said in a statement issued Monday.

“This aircraft has diplomatic clearance, but there is no VIP visit to the Philippines associated with it. The PAF will monitor and assist this diplomatic layover as needed until its departure on October 27, 2025,” it added.

According to the PAF, the US aircraft left NAIA at 11:38 a.m. on Monday.

GMA News Online has sought comment from the US Embassy in the Philippines about the matter but the office has yet to provide a statement as of posting time. — Joviland Rita/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
