CIDG files complaints vs 97 people over Sept. 21 rally violent incidents
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group has filed complaints against at least 97 people allegedly involved in violent incidents in Manila during the September 21 protest against corruption.
In a report, Super Radyo dzBB's Christian Mano said CIDG director Major General Robert Alexander Morico did not name those included in the complaints filed with the Department of Justice.
The complaints include alleged violation of the Revised Penal Code for sedition, inciting to sedition, and conspiracy and proposal to commit rebellion or insurrection.
The report said the CIDG will continue with its investigation and will next file complaints against those who instigated and financed the violent incident.

Trouble started in the Manila protest when unidentified young men set on fire several tires in front of a shipping container used by authorities as a blockage.
Bottle, paint, rocks were thrown at the cops who were forced to use their riot shields to protect themselves from the flying debris.
Hundreds of individuals were arrested during the protest.
According to the Department of Health, a man passed away due to stabbing after the rally.
Meanwhile, the PNP said it is now preparing for the November 30 protest action against corruption. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
