INC rally draws 314k at Luneta

The number of participants at the Iglesia ni Cristo rally at the Luneta Park in Manila has reached 314,000, according to city authorities.

“As of 04:00 PM umabot na sa 314,000 ang tinatayang bilang ng mga taong dumagsa sa Quirino Grandstand para sa peaceful rally na inorganisa ng INC.” the Manila DRRM Office shared in its Facebook page.

(As of 4 p.m., the estimated number of people at the Quirino Grandstand has reached 314,000 for the peaceful rally organized by the INC.)

The Manila Police District also provided the same crowd estimate.

The MPD said one person was taken to the hospital for gastrointestinal bleeding.

The Philippine Red Cross said they treated 85 persons, with no major cases.

The number more than doubled agency’s last estimate made an hour earlier which was 130,000 participants.  — RF, GMA Integrated News
