Some court operations in QC, Makati suspended Nov. 17, 18 amid INC rally — SC
Some court operations in Quezon City and Makati City are suspended from November 17 and 18 due to possible traffic congestion amid the three-day rally of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) against corruption, the Supreme Court (SC) announced Monday.
In a post on X, the SC said that all regional trial courts (RTCs) and metropolitan trial courts (MeTCs) in Quezon City and Makati City will work from home.
However, it said that a skeleton workforce will be maintained for urgent matters.
The SC said this is “in view of the expected traffic congestion within the vicinity of the courts and surrounding areas which may be brought about by the staging of the three-day rally of the INC.”
