Fire hits houses on Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City
Fire broke out in a residential area on Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City on Tuesday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) said.
The BFP-NCR said the fire was reported at 6:49 a.m. and reached the third alarm at 7 a.m.
A total of 25 firetrucks responded to the area.
Fire out was declared at 8:28 a.m., according to the BFP-NCR.
The BFP-NCR has yet to provide information on the possible casualties, cost of damage, as well as the cause of the fire as of posting time.
According to a report of Super Radyo dzBB’s Carlo Mateo, around 50 houses with 80 families were affected.
One was reported hurt in the fire.
