Brothers nabbed for allegedly killing neighbor in 2015

Pasig City intelligence operatives posed as volunteer workers distributing goods to the neighborhood to have access to the ID and verify the identity of one of their targets, an alias Aldrin.

According to a "24 Oras" report by Emil Sumangil, the cops left Aldrin's house in Valenzuela Ciy after taking a look at his ID and planned the arrest.

A few hours later, the suspect was nabbed as he left the house.

The operatives then motored to Camalig in Albay to arrest an alias Digoy, the brother of Aldrin.

"Our intel operatives conducted cyber patrolling, and saw the suspects on social media," said Police Major Loreto Tigno of the Pasig police.

According to the police, the brothers clubbed their neighbor to death in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig.  The incident, which killed Aristotle Sulat, happened in 2015.

The cause of the tiff had sometning to do with a water meter.

The victim's spouse said she tried to stop the brothers, but they did not listen.

The suspects are currently detained at the Pasig police station.  They did not give a statement. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
