LRT-1 on limited ops from Baclaran to FPJ station and vice versa

The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) said limited operations are being conducted following a technical issue encountered on Monday morning.

In an advisory, the Light Rail Manila Corporation said the LRT-1 trips are limited from Baclaran station to Fernando Poe Jr station.

“Please be advised that as of 6:22 AM, December 15, 2025, LRT-1 is currently implementing LIMITED OPERATIONS,” it said in an advisory.

“Trains are running only from Baclaran station to Fernando Poe Jr station (and vice versa),” it added.

According to the LRT-1 management, the limited operations were due to a technical issue between MIA Road Station and Redemptorist-Aseana Station.

“Our Engineering Team is on-site working to resolve a technical fault located between MIA Road Station and Redemptorist-Aseana Station,” the LRT-1 management said.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to fully restore operations. Further updates will be posted on this channel,” it added.

The full operations from Dr. Santos to FPJ stations and vice versa resumed as of 10:10 a.m. The LRMC asked the commuters to allow additional travel time of about 15 minutes.

As of  11:01 a.m., there were moderate to heavy volume of passengers in PITX, EDSA, Gil Puyat, Pedro Gil, Doroteo Jose, and Monumento stations while there were light volume of passengers in the 19 other stations of LRT-1.—Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA Integrated News
