MMDA lifts number coding on Christmas Day, New Year

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Monday the suspension of the expanded number coding scheme for the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.
In an advisory, the MMDA said the number coding scheme will be suspended on the following dates:
- Wednesday, December 24, 2025 — Christmas Eve (special non-working holiday)
- Thursday, December 25, 2025 — Christmas Day (regular holiday)
- Tuesday, December 30, 2025 — Rizal Day (regular holiday)
- Wednesday, December 31, 2025 — Last day of the year (special non-working holiday)
- Thursday, January 1, 2026 — New Year’s Day (regular holiday)
“Saan man ang iyong destinasyon ngayong Kapaskuhan, laging tandaan: planuhing mabuti ang inyong biyahe, sumunod sa batas trapiko, at mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho,” the MMDA said.
