EDSA rehab starts Christmas Eve
Motorists are advised to brace for slower traffic flow at some portions of EDSA as the rehabilitation project on the major thoroughfare is set to start late Wednesday evening during Christmas Eve.
The Pasay Traffic and Parking Management Office said the laying of construction materials has already started along the EDSA–Roxas Boulevard section on the Makati-bound side early this morning.
They warned that the ongoing preparatory works are expected to cause traffic buildup in the area.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Department of Public Works and Highways - National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) said that rehabilitation works will commence at 11:00 p.m.
The department released a 24-hour work schedule covering intermittent road sections from December 24 to 27.
