2 security guards shot dead by co-worker in QC

Two security guards were shot dead by their co-worker at a car dealership along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City on Christmas Eve.

According to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Tuesday Niu on Wednesday, the victims were sleeping when they were gunned down by their fellow security guard at around 2 p.m.

Quezon City Police District Director Police Colonel Randy Silvio said the suspect held a grudge against the two victims over issues related to their work.

The suspect shot the victims as they slept and then fled aboard a taxi.

An employee of another car dealer office in the area alleged that the suspect asked him to join in killing the two victims.

Other witnesses said the suspect also told them that he wanted to kill somebody and needed help in doing so.

However, the witnesses said they did not think that the suspect was serious and that he was talking about killing his co-workers.

Police are now conducting follow-up hot pursuit operations against the suspect. — Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/JMA, GMA Integrated News
