Lechon stores in La Loma, QC expect massive orders on eve of New Year 2026

Stores in La Loma, Quezon City are expecting a high volume of orders on Wednesday, December 31, as customers want freshly cooked lechon in time for the evening celebrations to welcome the new year.

According to the report of Super Radyo dzBB’s Mark Makalalad on Tuesday, shop owners said that many customers are currently canvassing for prices, which ranges between P12,000 to P25,000 depending on the size of the lechon.

“Only a few are currently placing their orders, while others are just canvassing for now,” said Ryan, a lechon shop owner.

Ryan also said that they can sell out up to 100 lechon orders on Wednesday.

Some vendors are actually generous enough to let potential customers take a pinch on the crispy lechon while canvassing, the report added.

Meanwhile, some have already placed orders in advance and will just pick up their lechon tomorrow.

Lechon shops in La Loma will open at early Wednesday up to 10 p.m. amid the expected influx of orders. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/AOL, GMA Integrated News
