PH Red Cross: Over 500 devotees sought medical help in Traslacion 2026
The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) provided medical assistance to more than 500 devotees during the Traslacion 2026.
As of 3 p.m., the PRC attended to a total of 536 patients. Of these, 250 individuals only sought vital signs monitoring.
A total of 262 patients were treated for minor conditions, including dizziness, minor wounds, abrasions, and sprains.
Ten patients were classified as major cases involving deep lacerations, severe headaches, and puncture wounds.
A total of 14 patients were transported to different hospitals for further medical care:
-Philippine General Hospital - four cases involving unresponsiveness, severe headache, and chest pain
-Tondo Medical Center - two rib fracture cases
-Philippine Orthopedic Center - two dislocations
-Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center - two dislocations
-Quirino Memorial Medical Center - two cases of fracture and knee pain
-East Avenue Medical Center - one case of extremity pain
-Fabella Hospital - one case involving a fall
The PRC Emergency Field Hospital (EFH) also catered to 35 patients. Of these, 27 were minor cases, while eight patients were transported to other hospitals.
Around 26 patients had been discharged, eight were transported, and one patient remained under care.—LDF, GMA Integrated News
