Teenage boy stabbed in QC

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed at a park in Barangay Greater Lagro, Fairview, Quezon City on Jan. 17, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said.

The QCPD said the victim was attacked by a group of children in conflict with the law.

“A minor witness positively identified the primary suspect, and a case is now being filed against him, while the investigation to identify the other suspects continues,” the police said in a statement.

The victim remains in stable condition while being treated at Tala Hospital in Caloocan City.

“The QCPD continues to work closely with the community and partner agencies to strengthen child protection and promote peace and safety in our neighborhoods,” the QCPD added.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
