Dead body found inside Quiapo pumping station

A cadaver was found inside a Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) pumping station at Quiapo, Manila on Friday.

According to a report by the Manila Police District (MPD), the body of a male individual was discovered among garbage at Estero de San Miguel around 2:15 p.m.

Initial investigation stated that a utility worker had been segregating the garbage when the cadaver was found face-down and in a decomposing state.

There were no injuries found on the cadaver, who has not yet been identified, but MMDA said in a post that he was estimated to be around 40 to 50 years old.
