Youths hold protest at DOJ over Sept. 21 rally
Several youths on Monday trooped to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to hold a protest over complaints filed against protesters in connection to the September 21, 2025 rally in Manila, according to Manny Vargas’ report on Super Radyo dzBB.
This included a certain Aldrin who said he first received a subpoena for an inciting to sedition complaint. He said he received another subpoena on January 15.
“Wala namang grounds ang mga sinasabi nila— sinasabi sa subpoena (there are no grounds for the subpoena),” he said.
Aldrin said the DOJ and police authorities should focus on investigating the corruption scheme involving flood control projects instead of filing complaints against youth leaders.
“Up until now wala pa rin nakukulong. Lahat ng sangkot sa corruption, onting-onting nakakalaya, onting-onting nakakaalis sa bansa,” he said.
(Up until now, no one has still been jailed. Everyone involved in corruption is slowly getting free, slowly getting out of the country.)
He added that trumped-up charges should not be filed against those critical of the government.—Joahna Lei Casilao/AOL, GMA Integrated News
