WATCH: QCPD releases CCTV footage of couple accused in Mollenido killing
The Quezon City Police District has released a CCTV footage showing the couple accused of masterminding the Mollenido double murder together with their three kids at a hotel where they had checked in after throwing away the bodies of the victims.
In a media briefing on Tuesday, Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said the car dealer and her partner were behind the deaths of Police Senior Master Sergeant Diane Mollenido and her eight-year-old son, John Ysmael.
He described the couple as having “psychopathic criminal tendencies” for bringing their children with them in dumping the cadavers in separate locations in Bulacan and Tarlac.
Police investigation revealed from the couples’ residence in Novaliches, Quezon City, where the mother and son were killed, the alleged masterminds loaded the bodies into an SUV with the help of an accomplice. Then they drove away in the SUV with their kids in tow, making them believe that were going to Baguio City for a vacation, Remulla narrated.
“Anong klaseng utak ka na meron, anong klaseng puso ka na meron na pati mga anak mo isasama mo sa disposal,” Remulla added in a briefing on Tuesday.
The couple and two other cohorts are in police custody after being charged over the killings, which authorities considered as “case closed.”
The kids are with the “next of kin” of their mother, according to Remulla. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
