PSA: Women can get free birth, marriage certificates in NCR this March

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Wednesday said it will offer free birth and marriage certificates to all women in celebration of the National Women’s Month this March. 

The PSA said the offer will be available to all female clients every Monday this month at select Civil Registry System (CRS) outlets in Metro Manila.

However, the free issuance of birth and marriage certificates are limited and subject to the discretion of the CRS outlets. 

Women who wish to avail of the free issuance of certificates should bring one valid ID when transacting with the PSA’s CRS outlets in Metro Manila.

The PSA added that it will hold a civil registration and national ID caravan on March 27 at Barangay Kaybanban, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. 

The services to be offered at the caravan include free national ID registration, validation, and consultation for other queries. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
