"Our churches are sacred spaces entrusted to our care. Our schools, offices, and houses serve the faithful daily. Fire prevention is not merely about regulatory compliance. It is an act of stewardship and love for the people God has placed in our care," he added.

Malicdem directed church officials to "conduct fire safety inspections, review emergency protocols, and coordinate with local authorities where needed. Let us ensure that candles, electrical systems, and public gatherings are managed prudently and responsibly."
