The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested foreigners for allegedly performing hair transplant procedure without a license and permit to operate in Makati City.

According to John Consulta’s exclusive report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, the foreigners just finished conducting the surgical procedure on a patient when NBI personnel entered their clinic and arrested them.

(It is dangerous because there are safety issues since the patient might get an infection. They should not have done it without a permit to operate here.)

The NBI also found medicine and anesthesia allegedly used in the medical procedure, which lasts about five hours.

The cost of a hair transplant can reach up to P220,000 pesos per patient.

The foreigners refused to comment on the matter but said they would secure a permit to continue their operations.
