Fire hits Valenzuela City compound, 19 families affected
A fire razed a residential community in Valenzuela City on Sunday night, affecting 19 families.
According to GMA Integrated News’ James Agustin, the fire hit the Samaca Compound in Barangay Bagbaguin.
The fire began at around 9:51 p.m. and reached the second alarm, burning down 13 houses.
The report said 19 families were affected by the blaze, which was extinguished at around 10:13 p.m.
One resident was reportedly injured in the fire.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is still investigating the cause of the blaze.
Meanwhile, a two-story home with an eatery in Barangay Maysan, also in Valenzuela City, was also hit by fire early Monday morning.
According to Agustin, the fire hit the structure at past midnight Monday.
The two families living there – including the house’s owner – were able to safely evacuate the structure.
The blaze also affected a vehicle parked at its garage and a motorcycle. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
