Angono stabbing victim, 15, now in stable condition

The 15-year-old boy who was stabbed by his father in Angono, Rizal on Saturday is now in stable condition and recovering, police said.

According to a report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday, the Angono Police said the victim sustained stab wounds to the neck and chest.

The teenager told authorities he was asleep when his father repeatedly stabbed him. The suspect stopped after noticing another child waking up.

The victim then pretended to be dead before finding a chance to check on his younger sibling.

The boys’ mother was killed in the incident, which police said may have been triggered by the suspect’s financial problems.

The suspect is also recovering after stabbing himself and is expected to face criminal charges.
