WATCH: Man steals diesel from truck in QC

The owner of a truck lost P10,000 worth of diesel after another motorist siphoned the fuel from his truck in Barangay Fairview, Quezon City last week.

According to GMA News’ James Agustin, the incident happened on March 31 at around 12:20 a.m. and was captured by a CCTV camera.

The footage showed a man alighting from a car and walking towards the truck to steal the truck’s fuel. The theft lasted a few minutes.

The owner of the truck later said his driver, who was supposed to drive the truck to Bulacan, was surprised to see the fuel gauge indicating that it was empty of diesel.

This was even if the driver made sure that its fuel tank was full.

The truck owner and driver then noticed that the fuel tank’s cap was broken.

The incident has been reported to the Fairview Police Station. — JMA, GMA News
