MMDA suspends number coding on April 9, 2026
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be suspending the expanded number coding scheme on April 9.
“Awtomatikong sinususpinde ang number coding tuwing regular at special non-working holidays,” read the advisory.
(Number coding is automatically suspended on regular and special non-working holidays.)
“Planuhing mabuti ang inyong biyahe upang maiwasan ang anumang aberya. Mag-ingat sa inyong pagmamaneho,” it added.
(Plan your trips well to avoid any inconveniences. Be careful when you drive.)
The announcement was made in line with the regular holiday celebrating the Araw ng Kagitingan.
Meanwhile, MRT-3 and LRT-2 earlier announced free train rides for all to be offered on April 9.
Veterans may also avail free rides with the MRT-3 from April 6 to 11 throughout the train’s operating hours.
